Our Barnham Broom Hotel/Golf/Spa Volunteer of the Month for September was Graham Hilton.
Graham has been looking after the grounds at Norwich since dinosaurs roamed the earth…almost!
He’s indicated that this may be his last season as head groundsman, in which case, it will be a very well earned and well deserved retirement. Having said that, he has had more farewell tours than the Rolling Stones, so we will have to see.
Graham is a very keen golfer so is delighted to accept the round of golf at Barnham Broom. We never had him down as a ‘Spa Day’ man anyway although afternoon tea for two may have momentarily been considered before returning to the obvious option.
Well done Graham and thank you for all the years of service to the club.
