Following on from our hugely successful Wildcats girls teams, we are now establishing our women’s rugby team at Norwich.

For the first couple of years, to ensure we are still getting some games whilst we recruit and transition to women's rugby, we will again be entering the RFU's Inner Warrior series. This is a competition set up between emerging teams to encourage the growth of the game and allows for a lot of flexibility in fixtures.

This is a hugely exciting chapter in the club's history and a logical extension of our Wildcats girls youth teams, meaning those girls that ‘age out’ from the Wildcats can continue to play rugby at the club. We have already seen a few ex-players return to the fold as well which is massively gratifying.

Chris Drohan will be coach with support from the wider club in specialist positions as needed.
